Murtaza Shah is Partner – EMEA at Northman & Sterling, where he works across global mobility, corporate immigration, international business expansion and operational strategy.

He supports multinational organisations with the movement of employees across borders, helping clients navigate the immigration, regulatory and operational requirements associated with international workforce mobility. His work spans corporate immigration programmes, employee relocation, market-entry support and cross-border business operations, with a particular focus on Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

As Partner – EMEA, Murtaza is closely involved in client relationships, regional strategy, service delivery and the continued development of Northman & Sterling’s operations across the region. He works with corporate clients, HR teams and global mobility professionals to develop practical solutions for workforce deployment and international expansion.

His experience includes supporting organisations operating across multiple jurisdictions, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. He has also been involved in expanding Northman & Sterling’s service offering around Saudi market entry, company establishment and wider business support.

Murtaza takes a commercially focused approach to global mobility, recognising that immigration is often only one part of a wider international business requirement. His work therefore frequently involves coordinating immigration, relocation, operational and corporate support to provide clients with a more integrated approach to international expansion.
