Processing Timeline

Documents Required for Residence Visa (Belgian Applicants)

The documents generally required include:

  • Validity not less than 6 months

  • At least 2 consecutive blank pages

  • The passport should not have any restrictions/conditions that prevents him/her from traveling.

  • 2inch x 2inch (51 mm x 51 mm

  • Not older than 3 months 

  • White background with frontal view

  • For Non-Belgian, EU citizens, an original Council registry proof (The BRP Extract) not older than 3 months is required – For Non-Belgian, Non-EU citizens, an original Residence permit is required
  • Approval of the Saudi Ministry of Interior/Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Visa Number.
  • Original medical examination report stamped or signed by the hospital or the laboratory; the report has to include all results as requested in the “Medical Report” form. The Report must be legalized by the Ministry of Health and Apostille from the Court in Belgium) (for applicants from 12 years and above). -Not older than 3 months
  • Proof of relationship (Marriage Certificate of married ones, Birth certificate for children) with Apostille from the Court in Belgium.
  • Copy of iqama of sponsor in KSA.
  • For Non-Belgian, Non-EU citizens: An Original residency permit ID.
  • Original vaccination books of children below 12 years.
  • Original criminal record issued by belgian authorities with Apostille from the Court in Belgium. (Not required for women) -Not older than 3 months
  • One copy for all the original documents. Residence visa of following is issued directly from the Embassy (without issuing permit for the same from concerned department of KSA). a. Families of some senior officials and specialists (University teachers and professors) have work visa of KSA to accompany their families at the time of travel. b. Children below one year of age, when coming with their mothers to reside in KSA.
