The Mission Visa is granted to professionals coming to the UAE for short-term projects with local companies. It designates them as probationary workers during this period.
This type of visa is typically issued to individuals traveling to the UAE for business-related activities, official government missions, attending conferences, participating in seminars, or conducting certain short-term assignments.
To apply for a Mission Visa, the applicant must be outside the country, and upon its expiry, they must exit the country promptly. If an employee needs a second mission visa, they can apply for it after leaving the country and canceling their labor card.
The entire process of obtaining a Mission Visa, from applying for the visa quota to receiving the Labor Card and commencing work in the UAE, may take up to 4 weeks to complete.
