What are the documents required to support the issuance of Residency Permits?

A valid passport with at least six months’ validity from the date of application.

2 passport-sized photographs with a white background are required.

A completed application form for the residency permit which you can obtain from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) or relevant authorities.

A copy of your entry visa to the UAE

An official offer letter or employment contract from the sponsoring employer in the UAE.

Proof of you have passed a medical fitness test
Health Insurance: Some emirates may require proof of health insurance coverage during your stay.

You’ll need to apply for an Emirates ID card, which is an identity card for UAE residents.

A tenancy contract legally representing your place of stay in the country.

Some emirates may require a police clearance certificate from your home country or any previous country of residence.

A valid work/labor contract and copies of the company’s licenses required.

Bank statements showing proof of sufficient funds to support yourself or your dependents during your stay in the UAE.

Educational certificates and degrees, especially if you are applying for a work visa or a visa through a dependent’s sponsorship (e.g., spouse or child).

Documents Required for Family Residency Permit

To apply for a UAE family residency permit, you will need to provide the following documents

Completed UAE Family Residency Permit Application Form

Passport copies of the family members being sponsored

Passport-size photographs of the family members being sponsored

Medical clearance certificates for family members over the age of 18

Copy of the sponsor's employment contract or company contract

Proof of the sponsor's monthly salary

Legalized marriage certificate (if sponsoring a spouse)

Proof of accommodation in the UAE, such as the registered tenancy contract

The latest utility bill as additional proof of residence
